2 things challenge. Old Fashion
Old/fashion is this weeks 2 things challenge and I have done the 2 for the price of 1 again!
These are the old wooden clothes pegs that were once common. Now that our clothes peg options have extended to fluro pink and green or spring loaded throw-aways they are no longer in fashion. More’s the pity I say!
Oh, and if you were wondering about this great blog template it’s wordpress’s monotone photoblog. It picks the colour of the page for you to go with the photo! Very cool.

We used to make little pegdolls out of these wooden pegs at school. It’s a shame you can’t do this sort of thing with the new ones.
You know, I’ve seen these clothes pins all my life, but only as “old” things, or something to make crafts from. I remember when my mother washed clothes on a rippled wash board in a big tub in the back yard and hung the clothes on a line outside to dry, she never used these. Even back in the 1950’s she was using the spring loaded pinch type. Nice shot!
